Definitely a great spot to eat just some food options weren't in our favor. The fried eggplants didn't taste bad its just eggplant hold a lot of water and it didn't sit well with me texture wise. For my wife she ordered a salmon dish and it was undercooked twice. Everything else was delight to eat. The desserts and drinks amazing as well and we sat up close to watch them work together and prepare everyones meals. The staff and manager did amazing job with taking care of our dislikes and I'll definitely comeback when I visit Reno.

Oh mu goodness, it was so delicious. We went for valentines day and had the valentines special. Crab cake for appetizer. The Beef Wellington was so good. It tastes different from the restaurant up in Tahoe. They use a different sauce at this location. We also had the short ribs. It literally melts in your mouth, uch a flavorful dish. We picked the sticky toffee pudding and a strawberry one i can't remember the name for dessert. So good! I also picked this strawberry alcoholic drink that was the best drink.

I went with the three-course meal and added two sides, which I regretted. I was told the potato purée on the plate would be minimal, but it was a large portion, making the extra side unnecessary. In hindsight, I should have ordered another appetizer instead. Service was underwhelming. I was never asked if I wanted anything to drink beyond water, which is unacceptable for a Saturday night at 6:30 pm. My seating was awkwardly placed despite plenty of open space. The Wellington was the biggest disappointment. It tasted more like a hamburger than a steak and lacked the depth you’d expect from something approaching a ribeye or filet. The puff pastry and beef felt like a dressed-up burger rather than a refined dish. The crab cake was not crispy and poorly presented, with a cracked top and sloppy plating. Despite that, it was the highlight because the flavor was good. The mac & cheese looked appealing but was too runny, with the top disconnected from the bottom. The potato purée on the main plate was good, but the extra side had far too much sour cream. Dessert was the strongest part. The toffee cake was excellent, but the ice cream arrived already melting. Update: I returned and ordered the surf and turf. The braised Wagyu short rib was excessively fatty—overwhelming and smothered in sauce, making it difficult to avoid large chunks of fat. I wouldn’t order it again. The lobster tail was tough, and the meat did not release cleanly from the shell. The lamb lollipops were inconsistent—one tender, one tough. Service was better the second time, but seating issues remained, and staff seemed limited in their ability to help. Dessert was better executed and again the highlight. Overall, the food was decent but overpriced. At this level, inconsistency, toughness, and poor execution shouldn’t be recurring issues. Not worth the money.

It is Gordon Ramsey, enough said. We had to try this place as soon as we saw it was here and we were visiting Reno. They got us in with no reservation, so that was awesome. The service was very good. The only small complaint was that my girlfriend waited until desert to get the tableside old fashion which was $55 due to the casino owners being taken care of just before we had ordered it and they apparently all ordered it as well. The server was very good about both apologizing and letting us know it would be longer then normal. We ordered the Beef Wellington, scallops, and sticky toffee dessert thing that Gordon is known for. It was all good and no complaints. The dessert was the best item of all so save room.

We just had an amazing experience at Ramsay’s Kitchen in the Silver Legacy! The lamb lollipops were absolutely outstanding. I’ll be posting some pictures soon — definitely a five-star experience. Special thanks to Joseph, the manager, for making everything perfect. Also, Myleana and Rose are awesome! Highly recommended!
